Why not experience Russia, with its diverse and
fascinating range of cities, upon a river cruise.
Enjoy cruising along the longest river in Europe –
the Volga River –
on board one of our many excellent Russian river cruises.
Whether you wish to travel from Moscow to St Petersburg
enjoying the
comfort of a luxury cruise, or prefer to keep within a smaller budget, on
board one of our budget river cruises – you are sure to find something to
suit your needs.
One of our most popular luxury cruises is on board M/S
Peter the First.
This vessel
will offer you the most unique cruise on the Russian market. While most
Moscow to Petersburg cruise vessels offer modest twin bed cabins and
en-suite facilities, the Peter the First is equipped with a range of
spacious cabins with twin, double and queen size beds, a mahogany finish
throughout, and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. All of
the cabins have large picture windows and a radio while some cabins on the
Boat Deck have a private balcony. Another feature that makes this ship stand
out from the other Russian River vessels is the lift to all floors inside.
Be prepared for a jovial reception onto the ship with a welcome cocktail and
a heartfelt goodbye with a special Captain’s Farewell Dinner.
Another of our most popular Russian river cruises is
our Palaces by the Water cruise, on board the M/S Nikolay Chernishevsky.
The M/S Nikolay Chernishevsky is a four deck vessel built in Germany
in 1981. The ship is equipped with modern navigation devices and can reach
the speed up to 26 km per hour.
All cabins are outside with large scenic windows and are equipped with
private facilities, air-conditioning, refrigerators and 220 volt sockets.
Here at IntouristUK.com, we offer a vast variety of
enticing excursions on board our Moscow to St Petersburg cruises.
Start you journey in Moscow, visiting the world famous Kremlin and
stunning cathedrals, and end your journey in elegant St Petersburg, enjoying
visits to the fascinating Hermitage museum and Peter and Paul Fortress.
Along the way, enjoy stopping off at captivating destinations such as
Yaroslavl, where you have the opportunity to visit the Church of Elijah the
Prophet, dating back to the 1600s, and Kizhi – a unique and picturesque
Russian island, amongst many more.
Should you wish to travel slight differently, all of
our Volga River cruises are also available in reverse.
We also offer a
choice of cruises departing from the beautiful city of
Kiev in Ukraine.
Choose to cruise along the
Black Sea, enjoying the wonderful weather
and stops in countries including Romania, Bulgaria and
Turkey. Providing a
memorable experience, the Taras Shevchenko cruises this ever popular route
in style. Whether you are enjoying a drink at the Sky Bar with friends, or
soaking up rays on the sun deck, you will easily enjoy this relaxing way of
seeing the sights with the ship’s varied itinerary. Discover Kiev, the
capital of Ukraine and voyage through the heart of Ukraine, uncovering the
rich heritage along the Dnieper River.
Explore Yalta, the most elegant resort on the ‘Crimean Riviera’ and
Odessa, with its picturesque setting on the shores of the Black Sea.
Cross the Black Sea all the way to Istanbul - the only city located
in two continents - and admire the breathtaking Blue Mosque and hunt for
bargains in the Grand Bazaar.
Alternatively, choose to cruise along the
Dnieper River, visiting some of Ukraine’s best destinations on board
the Dnieper Princess, where you can enjoy the ship’s two bars,
restaurant and even treat yourself to a beauty treatment or massage.
Upgrades are available on all of our cruises,
should you wish to enjoy your own private balcony or suite for that
special occasion.
