Also known as St. Basils Cathedral, consists of 9 chapels on one foundation.  Located on Red Square as a memorial of the great victory in 1552 when Kazan was added to the Russian State.  The cathedral was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible and legend has it Ivan ordered the architect, Yakovlev, to be blinded so he could not build a more magnificent building for anyone else.
